Based on the latest projections, Capital Health Plan has made the decision to close all departments and offices on Wednesday, August 30, with the exception of CHP Urgent Care, which may open from 5pm – 10pm. The decision on Urgent Care will be revisited this afternoon by 3 pm.

- Patients with appointments for Wednesday will be contacted to cancel and reschedule appointments
- CHP contracted pharmacies have been authorized to process early prescription refills enabling our members to get up to a 30-day emergency supply of non-controlled, maintenance medications (controlled substances include opioids and stimulants). This would apply to Commercial and Medicare members in the affected counties listed in the governor’s emergency order.
- A Nurse Helpline will remain operational unless they experience power and telephone outages that we cannot rectify. Please call 850-383-3400 to access the Nurse Helpline.
- If a member has an emergency, they should seek medical care wherever they can.
