Online physician directory-the top-viewed feature on our web site: Searchable by name, specialty, and location, the directory also indicates whether a primary care physician is accepting new patients.
Primary care physician selection: New members may select a primary care physician online or by calling Member Services.
CHPConnect: This secure online service lets you maintain personal health records, track referrals, keep up with children's shots, and much more. Tour CHPConnect at our web site. Registering is easy.
Healthwise(r): An online health encyclopedia and much more, Healthwise is at your fingertips through CHPConnect. It's factual, constantly updated, and easy to use.
Prevention and wellness care: CHP encourages members to protect their health with screenings and inoculations, from flu shots to eye exams to mammography. You can make appointments directly for most services. Visit capitalhealth.com to see the preventive screenings and immunizations you and your children need.
Urgent Care Center: For urgent but nonemergency care when your PCP is not available, the Urgent Care Center at our Centerville Place facility is open weekday afternoons and evenings and weekends. It is staffed by board-certified physicians. Call 383-3382 for an appointment.
Health Education Classes: Many excellent free classes are available, ranging from weight loss to CPR. For a list of health classes and sign-up instructions, go to capitalhealth.com.
Away from Home Care: If you or a covered dependent will be living out-of-area for 90 or more consecutive days, you may enroll as a guest in an affiliated HMO.
Walgreens nationwide: When traveling, present your CHP membership card to fill prescriptions in any Walgreens pharmacy in the U.S.
