Alzheimer's Support Group
The Neuroscience Center, in association with the Alzheimer Resource Center, offers Alzheimer's disease family support groups on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. and the second Tuesday of each month at 1:30 p.m. The group meets at the Alzheimer Resource Center's Caregiver House at 1400 North Bronough Street. Respite care is available for this support group with a 24-hour notice. Call the Alzheimer Resource Center at (850) 561-6869 or the Memory Disorder Clinic at (850) 431-5001 for more information.

The Neuroscience Center offers the Big Bend Brain Injury Support Group for survivors of brain injury, as well as their families and professionals. Her Heart Support Group
Her Heart is open to heart-disease survivors, women who are caregivers of someone with heart disease and those who just want to express thoughts on the subject. Her Heart meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at A Woman's Place, 1301 East Sixth Avenue. There is no charge. Participants are welcome to bring a bag lunch. Mended Hearts
Mended Hearts offers support groups for persons with heart problems and families of people with heart problems. Meetings are held at either the auditorium of the Tallahassee Memorial Regional Medical Center or the Community Fitness Center at Tallahassee Community Hospital. Monthly meetings are held on alternate months at the two hospitals.

PWP Under 65 (People with Parkinson's Under 65)
For those persons with Parkinson's disease who are either newly diagnosed and/or under the age of 65. Sessions are held at 6 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month in the St. Paul's United Methodist Church (Meridian Road off Lake Ella). For more information, please call (850) 431-5082.

Stroke Support Group
The Stroke Support Group is for stroke survivors and their families. Meetings are held from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month.
