Here's what to expect at well-child examinations and a list of topics to discuss with your doctor.

6-11 years Growth chart; screen for anemia, cholesterol, sickle cell as needed; urinalysis, blood pressure, vision, BMI Booster seat or seatbelt, discipline, school performance, family relationships, physical development as needed, nutrition and physical activity
12-19 years Growth, vision, blood pressure; STI screening if sexually active School performance, family relationships, friends, discipline, tobacco and substance abuse, diet/dieting, physical activity, sexual activity, birth control, seat belts and NO texting when driving
